Ed has been involved in and around all kinds of high performance work for thirty plus years. He personally has been involved in N.H.R.A. Super Stock Drag Racing since 1973 in which he has driven and participated every season through 1993. After taking a break in 1994 and 1995, he returned to N.H.R.A. Super Stock Racing in 1996 and started working on his DFI fuel injection in 1998. This was the second DFI fuel injection that we know of in Super Stock. Ed has been participating in NHRA Super Stock racing for over 25 years. Ed's employees are also actively involved in NHRA Drag Racing and other forms of motorsports. We have been involved with many engine programs from slant six Chryslers to big cubic inch Fords.
Since we opened our doors in 1974 in Abilene, Texas, Ed's Automotive Machine and Supply, Inc. has been dedicated to the highest standards of quality, innovation and technical superiority for the automotive and high performance markets.

We have ASE certified machinists, and we are actively involved in Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association (AERA). Being involved in AERA, we have access to a full time Technical Services Department. This Technical Services Department supports a computer software program, of which we have in house, that has technical bulletins and specifications on 3800 engines.
